A slice of watermelon looks and smells like Summer. I don't even like watermelon. I know, weird. But DANG, the sight of a sliced watermelon is sheer happiness, fun, wholesome and good.
Maybe because it's a Summer fruit, and there is rarely a family BBQ, picnic or any informal gathering in Australia without a platter of sliced Watermelon. And it's so easy. A sharp knife is all you need to enjoy it. Slices enjoyed at the beach carefully stacked in a container and kept cool in an iced esky, because everyone knows its better enjoyed ice cold.
Watermelon could be the most popular fruit, enjoyed by babies, seedless of course!
Hello, super blogger, Pip Lincoln even has the pretty watermelon in her branding for her blogging course, Blog YAY! So who is to argue that the watermelon trend is here, and with the weather warming up, I bet it only gets stronger.
Are you jumping on board the watermelon trend? Its just a little bit cute. Are pineapples over? Sorry, as if pineapples will ever be over. Love a pineapple.
